With a file sync client, files can be automatically synchronized between the Cloud server and your devices.
Go to the App Store, and install the Nextcloud app for iOS.
Open the app. If prompted to allow notifications, click Allow to continue.
Click the Log in button.
Enter the Cloud server address: https://cloud.fizz.studio/
.
Connect to your account by clicking the Log in button.
If prompted, enter the following information and click the Log in button.
Name | Value |
---|---|
Username or Email address | Your Fizz Studio username or email address, e.g. sarah or sarah@fizz.studio |
Password | Your regular Fizz Studio account password (not your app password for this iOS device) |
(You may also be prompted for your TOTP if you’ve enabled 2FA for your account)
Click the Grant access button to grant the sync app access to your cloud account.
You now have online access to files in your cloud account.
Because mobile devices have limited storage, files aren’t synced for offline access by default. However, you can configure which files/folders you wish to have synced, along with many other options.
To set up calendar or contacts synchronization on an iPhone or iPad:
Go to the “Settings” app and select Passwords & Accounts.
Under ACCOUNTS, tap Add Account.
Tap Other.
Under CONTACTS, tap Add CardDAV Account.
Enter the following information:
Name | Value |
---|---|
Server | https://cloud.fizz.studio/ |
User Name | Your Fizz Studio account username, e.g. sarah |
Password | Your app password for this iOS device (not your regular Fizz Studio account password) |
Finally, click Next to connect.
Repeat the steps above, but choose CALENDARS > Add CalDAV Account this time. The rest of the information is the same.
Setting up calendar sync on an iPhone or iPad also synchronizes task lists with the “Reminders” app.
